Refund and Cancellation Policy for skilldesign.site Courses

At skilldesign.site (Individual Entrepreneur SERGEI IUNIN), we strive to provide high-quality design education through live, interactive online courses via video conferencing. We want your learning experience to be as effective and comfortable as possible. This policy describes the refund and cancellation terms for purchased courses, as applicable under Georgian law.
1. Right of Withdrawal (for New Purchases):
In accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Protection of Consumer Rights," you, as a consumer, have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded remotely (i.e., through our website skilldesign.site) without giving a reason within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of purchasing the course.
Loss of right of withdrawal: Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply if:
* You have given your express prior consent to the commencement of the service (participation in the first course lesson or access to pre-launch materials, if any) within the 14-day withdrawal period.
* You have confirmed that you understand that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service commences.
* This means that after the start of the first course lesson or after accessing relevant pre-launch materials (if any) as part of the service, your right of withdrawal within 14 days may be lost.
2. Cancellation of course registration and refund (after 14 days or the start of the course):
We understand that life circumstances can change. If you decide to cancel your course after the 14-day cancellation period or after the start of the first lesson, the following conditions apply:
a) Cancellation before the course start:
* If you cancel 5 or more calendar days before the official start date of the first lesson, you will receive a 100% refund of the full course fee. This refund covers administrative costs.
* If you cancel less than 2 calendar days before the start of the first lesson, you will receive a 50% refund of the full course fee. This refund covers administrative costs and the lost opportunity to enroll another student.
b) Cancellation after the start of the course:
* After the start of the first lesson, no refunds are provided for missed or completed lessons.
* In exceptional cases (e.g., serious health issues documented), we may consider a partial refund for missed future lessons or offer a transfer to another group/course at our discretion. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
c) Absence of classes (no-show):
* If you miss a course, no refunds will be issued.
* The availability of a recording of the missed class (if available) or materials will be determined by the instructor and will be made available at our discretion.
3. Non-refundable situations.
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
If the course was purchased at a special promotion, at a significant discount, or is free.
For individual consultations or master classes that have already taken place or for which you failed to attend.
If you violate the skilldesign.site Terms of Use or the course rules, resulting in the suspension or termination of your access.
If you miss a class without a valid reason and prior notice.
4. Cancellation and Refund Request Procedure:
To request a cancellation and refund, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us: Send an email to skilldesign.site@proton.me or call +995 593 307 817.
2. Provide information: In your email, please include:
* Your order number or skilldesign.site username.
* The name of the course you wish to cancel.
* Purchase date.
* The reason for cancellation (for our internal analysis).
* A copy of your proof of purchase.
3. Request Review: We will review your request within 5 business days and notify you of our decision and the amount of your refund.
5. Refund:
If your refund request is approved, the funds will be returned to the same account or bank card used to pay for the order.
Refunds will be processed within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of refund approval.
After a refund, your access to the course (or the remaining portion of it) will be revoked.
6. Technical Requirements and Issues:
You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, the appropriate equipment (computer/laptop with a camera and microphone), and the software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) required to participate in the courses.
We recommend checking your equipment and internet connection in advance.
If you experience technical issues beyond our platform's control (e.g., internet issues, a broken camera) that prevent you from participating in a class, we will not provide a refund for that class.
We will, however, provide troubleshooting recommendations or assist you if the issue is ours.
7. No or Delayed Refund:
If you have not received your funds within 14 days of confirming your refund:
1. Check your bank account again.
2. Contact your card issuer; the crediting process may take some time.
3. If you have completed all of these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us by email at skilldesign.site@proton.me.
8. Changes to the Return Policy:
skilldesign.site (Individual Entrepreneur SERGEI IUNIN) reserves the right to amend this return policy at any time. All changes are effective immediately upon publication on skilldesign.site.
